This week is the Board of Public Utilities’ Utility Assistance Week. Due to the pandemic, New Jersey temporarily expanded its low-income energy assistance and energy debt forgiveness programs so that more households qualify. Please see the attached letter for more information on these programs and additional shut off protections available to customers who apply for a State-sponsored utility assistance program by this coming Tuesday (June 14th).
