On Friday, July 25, 2024, Deputy Mayor Donaruma and Committeewoman Tarby attended the ‘JCP&L PRESENTATION ON LOCAL INFRASTRUCTURE’ hosted by the Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners and cohosted by Assemblyman Erik Peterson, as well as Jersey Central Power and Light. At the presentation JCP&L shared the following information:
“Of the over $900 million being requested, over $100 million will be dedicated to projects that will benefit Hunterdon County residents. And yes, there is currently $100 million that JCP&L is investing in priority circuit work for 18 circuits and I confirmed that it’s $26 million being spent in Hunterdon County on priority circuits. And yes, the current $100 million spend is separate from the over $900 million that’s pending approval with the BPU.” ~ Amy Overman, JCP&L Regional External Affairs-NJ
