Boy Scout Troop 108, Quakertown, NJ will be conducting a Roadside Litter Clean-up tomorrow Saturday May 6, 2023, between the hours of 9am-12pm. The Boy Scouts will be picking up litter on most of the Township Roads, please be cautious when driving and keep an eye out for the Boy Scouts.
There may be as many as 4 different groups of Scouts performing this key function of Keeping Franklin Township Litter Free, as part of our partnership with The Clean Communities Program. As part of CCP, we are awarded Grant money depending on the amount of litter and debris that is collected from our roadways along with other requirements that we must qualify for.
With the grant money we receive we can buy the safety items, litter collection and equipment needed each year. We are also allowed to give a donation to the Boy Scouts and any other volunteer group that is interested in performing a Roadside Clean-up event.
