Recycle Ink Cartridges for Free:

Support the Environmental Commission & Protect the Planet

Did you know Printer Ink Cartridges contain lots of plastic, take between 450 and 1,000 years to break down in landfills, and can be easily recycled for cash to the Township?

Franklin Township has an ink cartridge recycling box in the township building lobby

  • All inkjet cartridges are accepted; toner and large format ink cartridges are not
  • Just drop your ink cartridge in the box. The Environmental Commission will do the rest!

Alternatively, you can print a free shipping label from our host’s website (PlanetGreenRecycle.com) and mail empty or unused cartridges in groups of 4 cartridges or more

  • Please include program identification number 31833 to ensure the township receives proper credit.

Consider joining our effort to grow a healthier planet by reducing the amount of waste (and plastic) ending up in landfills.
