The Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board, serving Hunterdon and Somerset Counties has provided information on career development opportunities.
Attached is a flyer for the Summer Youth Work Experience Program along with the recruitment packet for participants. Youth can apply to earn a tax-free stipend of $3,200.00 by working for 180 hours on site with a host employer and doing 20 hours of work readiness programming. It is a great opportunity to earn while they learn about the world of work.
Also attached is a flyer promoting the career event being hosted on May 6 at RVCC that will highlight apprenticeship opportunities as well as other opportunities in careers that do not necessarily require a four-year degree.
